Cathodic protection with automatic electrical potential

In time scheduled electrodeposition, the workpiece must usually immediately take out of the electroplating bath after stopping the electroplating rectifier. Otherwise, the color and / or  the performance of the new electroplated workpiece degrade.

Through a unique function of the Kirchner electroplating constant current sources, this effect is prevented. After the end of process, the current is not switched off completely. The output current is lowered at 1/64 of the given electroplating current . This allows the operator a better flexibility.

It is also possible to start a galvanic process in the evening and leave at the end of working hours. The Kirchner constant current source switched off after reaching the desired amount of time and prevents the passivation or discoloration of the parts overnight until the components are taken to the bathroom.
